    This README file is very old, and has not been updated properly, sorry
    about that.

    The apt-get method described in the README file only works on Ubuntu
    6.06 (dapper) through 8.04 (hardy). Currently, we are working on
    releasing new packages to make this method work with the newest Ubuntu
    releases, 8.10 (intrepid) and 9.04 (jaunty).

    For other distributions, we do not have packages, unfortunately. If
    you are familiar with Linux development tools (or willing to learn),
    your best bet is to get the latest source from Subversion
    (svn://source.campware.org/campcaster/trunk/campcaster) and follow the
    instructions in doc/install.html included there. There is plenty of
    documentation at http://trac.campware.org/campcaster.
